This morning, we began a new sermon series in the book of judges. Judges is a pretty straightforward book in the Old Testament, but the content is sometimes a bit depressing. Israel did what was right in its own eyes. The cycle of sin, discipline, repentance, and deliverance happens over and over again. It's a good place for us to look and see God's gracious dealings with His people, and also see how little sins have grave consequences.
